About Makhaza
Imam Ismaeel Ngqoyiyana has been a resident in Makhaza since it was located as a place where people can stay.

He said,"In 1989 it was the year Makhaza started to develop.In 1990 toilets were put into place so as pipe lines.In 1991 people were moved from areas that were found dangeruos for human survival,some consisted of too many people and were relocated to Makhaza.
In 1998 an Organisation called Federation was formed,this group came up with a strategy of employing the people of Makhaza who could build,do plumbing and electricians within the community to start building houses for themselves with the financial assistance from government.This was the means of providing employement in this community".
Imam Ismaeel Ngqoyiyana has been one of the great leaders in Makhaza bringing in hope,he is a leader of a Masjid that was built in 1994 with the idea of elevating Makhaza and helping those in need.He has been a leader in this Masjid for 23years.
He said,"Sayyiduna Bilal Masjid has been helping the community of Makhaza through times of need,we have contributed food parcels,blunkets and education to this community for many years".
