The library opened for the public in the year 2001 month September 1st.The library provides the following servies:

• Information search i.e smart cape computers.

• Study purposes

• Free internet access i.e smart cape computers.

• Story telling for the children especially the pre-schools.

• Life skills programme

• Integrated programmes with other department of the City of Cape Town.

• Information Literacy programme i.e to address the problem of illiteracy in our communities.

• Book Clubs and Reading Programmes

• Old age Home i.e provide books and we also invite them for our programme i.e heritage day.

• Block loans.
